Acting

I am a serious Actor whom likes variety.  I like light romantic comedy although I do not consider myself to be a comedian by specialty.  I prefer films of importance although entertainment properties that are not academy award material that are high quality and enjoyable and or unique are great.   I just love women.  Even when I was a prepubescent little actor I always loved the beautiful actresses.  I'd rather play hide and go seek with my girl friends and squeeze the charmin once I found her in a closet than throw dirt clods with the boys at the local land fill playing war.  I like the work of women producers too.  People like Penny Marshall, Nora Ephron, Patty Jenkins and others are fabulous, most enjoyable and important in the male dominated film industry.

I also like films that leave the audience feeling uplifted.  Some examples of the projects I like would be Sean Connerys "HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER".  Although war is a morbid subject this movie was special because it presented the light at the end of the tunnel and that humanity could somehow breakthrough.    George Clooneys "GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK"  was a real life story of how a huge television network could come to the rescue of individuals crushed by a rampant political machine.  I like periodic films set in the early 1900s.   I find the hairstyles and fashion of the art deco era quite stunning on women.

I like science fiction if it is sophisticated enough on the story level such as Charlton Heston "THE OMEGA MAN".  A film that dazzles the audience with seemingly endless special effects but lacks substance of a great story leaves the actor and the audience with nothing else to be immersed in but eye candy.  The Original Star Trek pilot was a great story that for it's time was a good balance of both.

I would also like to develop a few films which of course I can not divulge or they would be in the theaters in this current business environment.

I prefer major motion pictures but consider quality television.  I would also Like to have my own variety like show  that was a celebrated event, a hybrid cross between Dick Clark's American Band Stand, Don Kirschner's Rock Concert Bob Hope, Carol Burnett, and Ed Sullivan's shows.  I think a one to two hour television event could lure film stars whom could not be tied down to an episodic weekly routine.  Furthermore with all the contest talent bashing and reality shows that are like inviting the world to an audition, I think there is real audience desperation for programming providing a real high polished professional presentation of one class act after another.
